Revisiting our experiences

Week of Nov 12^th- 16^th, 2012

This week we were getting ready for our curriculum night.  We wanted to show our parents all of the things we have been investigating and exploring.  To do this, I pulled out our learning group book and we looked at each week, discussing the scene, what we did and ideas we had.  I had photos available for the children to look at to help them remember each week.  The children enjoyed looking at the photos and talking about what they were doing in each picture.  They remembered many different details about the activities throughout the weeks.  After we discussed for a while the different activities we did, we worked together to create a drawing that would represent each week.

Next week I would like to go back to the safari animal prints.  The children were especially animated talking about the safari animals and how they became different animals.  I found an app on the iPad that uses a photo of a person and imposes an animal print on their face.  I want to see what the children think when their photo changes into an animal.
